Waiting over 20 minutes for a french fries seemed to me a little exaggerated maybe the man at the french fries counter had to collect the potatoes !!! Very unfriendly and probably easily overwhelmed with his task behind the fryer! Thanks but no thanks !!

good food mostly from local sources and friendly staff. later in the day one or the other dish can be sold out. The rock cellar can only be reached on foot or by bike. Navigating with Google Maps for cars leads you wrong!

Just because it's in the forest doesn't mean it's really special! Our 3x 0.4l glasses were only very tightly poured and we left something to eat after we were told that we should wait an hour for it! ... for a sausage? ... and the bank stuck! ??

Today we were in this cellar for the second time and we thought it was already extremely with waiting times and sold out meals on the last visit. During the visit today it shot the bird again. After 80 minutes of waiting, we left again frustrated and hungry. The "unexpected rush" of guests on a beautiful, sunny Sunday could not be mastered in culinary terms. And the bratwurst griller seriously only put the sausages on the grill according to the order and was then surprised when he had sausages with him again for the next 10 orders. So instead of simply putting on a mountain of sausages and thus being able to handle a mass, there was always a delay in the grill. An incredibly unproductive process that ultimately brings the quality of the hospitality back to a level 100 years ago. Cold dishes were available, but if you offer warm food, you should also be able to meet the requirements in a reasonable time. As someone who lives nearby, it's a shame to see that you don't get that organized. Sorry - as long as that doesn't improve significantly, it was our last visit. And we were there with almost ten people!

The spot in the forest is wonderful! Definitely recommended as a destination if you don't necessarily expect Franconian cellar cuisine. Since the cellar can only be reached by bike, on foot or by horse-drawn carriage, it is wonderfully quiet. A great place to relax and the beer is also tasty and at a good temperature. In the basement, however, getting ribs or chicken from the grill cart seems to be lacking in space. In my opinion, the gastronomy does not do justice to the cellar culture. It's a shame. A more loving presentation of the food counter, a more appropriate selection of cellar bread times - there are breads, but no platters - and it would be perfect. It is a rock cellar for city dwellers who do not want to do without fast food. Oh and the prices are not very moderate.

The city sausage with music was freshly made and tasted very good. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. However, the prices for self-service are very expensive. In summer it is hard to bear with the many wasps, so we left after a beer. What a shame

Nice beer garden in the middle of the forest, therefore pleasant in summer. Young and old feel at home here and the four-legged friends are also very welcome and even get a Wienerle as a welcome. Food and drinks are great and prices are reasonable. We like to come here.

We were in the beer garden today for the first time in the course of a bike ride and it was very busy because of the weather. Everything was super organized, everything was very fast, the food tasted very delicious and the beer was well poured and priced absolutely fair. Very gladly again ???

Nice place, good availability of outdoor seating and lots of drink and snack selection. Nice to have a cold drink after a long walk in the woods.
